A simply stunning and extremely rare, hand made English Victorian period Masonic Wedding ring, beautifully and clearly marked, signed and remaining in excellent and every day wearable condition.
This ring was found and purchased with my own eye, experience and money in Central London where it was originally made in the later stages of 1851 making it 171 years old.
Unpolished with original Patina, it bears 12 fine Masonic hand engravings and the clear internal markings reveal a makers initial IB.
I consider this beautiful item as a fine investment object that would be almost impossible to replace at any price.
This ring, in a fancy London Boutique would quite easily fetch two or three times my asking price and is guaranteed to rise in value as the years tick by, therefore offering its new owner not only a fine piece of history, but also a solid long term investment.
Due to its nature it cannot be resized and no attempt at resizing should be made. I would strongly advise against any polishing as this would be detrimental to its value.
English jewellery from this period remains highly desirable and much sought after by collectors and investors around the World and it amazes me that for less than the price of a brand new, lower end depreciating watch, you can own such a wonderful piece of history!
